The ULB has multiple emergency phones located around the campus, both inside and outside.

These phones are generally black or dark grey, and mounted to the wall. Each of these phones will also have next to it a white plate, with information on the location of the phone and the emergency numbers to call:

At some locations around campus, there are also yellow emergency call points. These can be identified as approx 2m tall yellow pillars, with the text SOS painted on them in big letters

  2. Find the nearest fire alarm call point (red box on wall)
  3. Identify the evacuation route to the meeting point
  4. Note the location of fire extinguishers (red, marked with tape)

If you’re unsure about any emergency procedure:

  • Ask a staff member

  • When in doubt during an actual emergency: call 112
